Leo and Valeria's Coco Chanel-inspired editorial captured the spirit of Parisian minimalism at sunrise over Trocadero. A&A Event directed the concept of restraint and confidence, while Yulia Galygina followed the couple through quiet streets washed in soft morning light. Black, white, and ivory tones guided every choice in this celebration of French style.

Getting Ready

She wears a white strapless ballgown with a textured lace or dotted tulle skirt and a black velvet sash belt at the waist, paired with blush pink pointed-toe heels. Her hair is styled in a low updo with a black velvet bow, and she wears a delicate necklace. The image is a medium portrait shot with soft, even natural lighting and a classic, polished styling aesthetic.

The groom wears a black tuxedo with a black bow tie and white dress shirt, while the bride wears a strapless white gown and has her blonde hair styled in a low ponytail secured with a large black satin bow. She accessorizes with small pearl or diamond stud earrings and a delicate necklace. The background is completely blurred, keeping all focus on the couple's faces and the intentional black-and-white color contrast of their styling.
A bride sits alone on a stone ledge at the Trocadéro in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower centered directly behind her in soft focus. She is wearing a white strapless sweetheart-neckline gown with a flowing skirt featuring a front slit, and her hair is loosely styled in a low updo. The shot is a full-length portrait taken at a slight distance, with the bride positioned in the lower-left third of the frame to allow the tower to dominate the background. The overall image has a soft, muted, film-like quality with pale, diffused light.

Valeria sat alone on a stone ledge at the Trocadero with the Eiffel Tower centered directly behind her, her white spaghetti-strap gown by Tasya Talitha catching the first golden rays of sunrise. Iryna Skomoroshko created a modern, luminous beauty look while a black satin bow, a direct nod to Coco Chanel's iconic simplicity, anchored the bridal hairstyle. The groom's tailored suit by Baldin and Delloye added sharp Parisian polish.

Bridal Portraits

A couples portrait taken outdoors in Paris with the Eiffel Tower softly out of focus in the background. The bride and groom stand close together with foreheads nearly touching in an intimate pose; the groom wears a black tuxedo with a black bow tie, while the bride wears a white strapless gown with a black satin waist sash and has her hair pulled back with a large black bow accessory. The styling follows a classic black-and-white contrast theme with clean, minimal details. The shot is a mid-length portrait with soft, even light suggesting golden hour, giving the image a film-like, airy quality.

The bride wears a white strapless dress, has her hair pulled back with a large black bow, and wears pearl stud earrings; she has her arms wrapped around the groom's neck and is smiling softly with eyes closed. The groom wears a dark navy or black suit jacket with a black tie and leans in close to the bride's face. The bride has a small script tattoo visible on her forearm. She wears a strapless white wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and a textured quilted skirt, accessorized with a wide black satin sash tied in a large bow at the waist. A delicate silver chain necklace is visible at her collarbone, and she wears a ring on her right hand. The styling is clean and modern with a strong monochrome contrast between the white gown and the black ribbon detail.
A bride sits barefoot on a stone wall at the Trocadéro in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower prominent in the soft-focus background. She wears a strapless white gown with a sweetheart neckline and a black satin sash at the waist, with a textured skirt that falls open at the front. Her blonde hair is pulled back in a low ponytail with a black hair accessory. The portrait is shot at a medium distance with a film-style aesthetic, featuring soft, muted tones and a slightly overexposed, hazy quality consistent with analog film photography.

Close-up portraits captured the couple kissing, shot from behind the bride to highlight her low, loosely gathered ponytail secured with the signature black satin bow. Valeria posed against classic Haussmann-style facades with cream stone and wrought-iron balconies, her white gown a study in clean lines and quiet confidence. Yulia Galygina's lens turned every Parisian street corner into a frame of understated editorial elegance.

More from the Day

A six-image collage from a Paris elopement or editorial shoot featuring a bride in a white spaghetti-strap gown with a black satin sash bow and a groom in a black tuxedo. A flat lay detail shot of a French wedding stationery suite arranged on a concrete surface with scattered dried autumn leaves. The suite includes two white deckle-edge cards with grey calligraphy script — one appearing to be a wedding invitation for 'Valérie & Léo' dated '5 Septembre' and one an addressed envelope referencing 'Château de Thoiry' — along with two dark charcoal/black place cards with white calligraphy reading 'Mariée' and 'Marié.' A large black satin ribbon bow is placed to the upper left, and two delicate gold rings rest on the invitation card. The overall design palette is monochromatic black, white, and charcoal with a classic, formal calligraphy style.
A couple in wedding attire poses at a classic Parisian café terrace, shown in two companion shots — one wide and one closer portrait. The groom wears a black tuxedo with bow tie, and the bride wears a strapless white ballgown with a full skirt. They are seated at a small round bistro table surrounded by traditional rattan café chairs. The café signage reading 'Café K' is visible in the wider left shot, with a Haussmann-style building facade in the background. In the closer right shot, the couple leans toward each other intimately with espresso cups on the table, and warm amber lighting glows through the café window behind them. The styling is classic and Parisian in tone, with a clean black-and-white color palette in the couple's attire.
A couple walks hand-in-hand along a Parisian city sidewalk in this portrait-style shot taken from behind. The bride wears a strapless, tea-length white dress with a thin black belt at the waist, accessorized with a large black bow in her low blonde ponytail, and carries a small bouquet of white blooms; the groom is dressed in a classic black suit with black dress shoes. The composition is a mid-distance shot with the couple centered against a boulevard lined with Haussmann-style building facades featuring black awnings, shot in warm golden-hour light. The overall styling is clean and minimal with a monochromatic black-and-white color theme.
